Let's Talk About Pets!
Clay Subaru is proud to support Subaru Loves Pets, an initiative to aid humane societies in their missions to find forever homes for animals in need.
Here at our dealership, we're eager to participate in the Subaru Loves Pets Promise all year round. We feature a pet of the month, collect supplies and donations to support the shelters that work so hard to care for our furry friends and help them find loving families. We even run in-store adoption events several times throughout the year right here at our dealership to help connect members of our community with animals who need homes!
Shultz' Guest House
We're excited to partner with Shultz's Guest House to support them in their endeavors to provide rescue for lost, homeless, and abandoned dogs.
Shultz's Guest House
Shultz's Guest House is a 501c3 dog rescue shelter, located in Dedham, MA. Their mission is to provide rescue for lost, homeless and abandoned dogs in the southern part of the country, where both veterinary care remains commonly unaffordable and animal protection laws remain dormant; to provide for the medical care, sheltering, and transport of such dogs to their Dedham, MA facility, where they can further manage their healthcare, provide socialization, introduce human trust, and promote spaying/neutering as a means to end the suffering of pet overpopulation and unwanted dogs; and to focus on adoption of healthy puppies and dogs into loving, forever homes.
The shelter is also a private quarantine facility, fully licensed by the state of Massachusetts. They have accommodations for up to 80 dogs. SGH provides its dogs with comfortable 'guest' accommodations in their state-of-the-art shelter facility. Each dog has access to large outdoor play yards, fully and daily monitored by their staff of dedicated volunteers, who provide daily stimulation within a structured schedule - and a lot of attention and love! SGH believes that allowing a dog to thrive in this quiet, stress free and natural setting, helps the transition into a permanent home, a smooth and happy experience for all!
Even their volunteers, from all walks of life and professions, say Shultz's Guest House, surrounded by nature's healing powers, is good medicine for the soul. Imagine how the dogs feel!

More Ways To LOVE Pets!
Getting
involved is easy. We know your phone is full of photos of your furry
friends…ours, too. All you have to do is post! Throughout the month of October,
post a public photo or video of your pet on Facebook, Instagram, X, or
TikTok using the hashtag #SNELovesPets. For each unique post, we'll
pledge $5 to our 12 shelter partners, up to $75,000!* Our goal is
to hit a total 15,000 (or more!) pet posts using #SNELovesPets, which
will ensure each shelter receives $6,250!
For
Subaru of New England, this campaign is about more than just raising funds
- it's about spreading the word for the animals we love. With your help,
we can raise awareness and make sure shelter pets get the care, love, and
forever homes they deserve.
How Can You Help?
There are many ways individuals can help animals in need. Here are some impactful actions you can take:Adopt, Don't Shop: Consider adopting a pet from a shelter or rescue organization instead of buying from a breeder or pet store. Volunteer: Offer your time at local animal shelters or rescue groups. Tasks can range from walking dogs to helping with administrative work. Donate: Financial contributions, pet food, supplies, or even old blankets and towels can make a big difference. Foster: Provide a temporary home for animals in need, helping them transition from shelters to permanent homes. Advocate: Raise awareness about animal welfare issues in your community and support legislation that protects animals. Educate: Teach others about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying/neutering pets to control the animal population. Report Abuse: If you witness animal cruelty or neglect, report it to local authorities or animal control. Support Ethical Brands: Choose products from companies that prioritize animal welfare and avoid those that test on animals.
Every small action can contribute to a larger impact in improving the lives of animals. 🐾
