Test Drive a 2018 Impreza

2018 Subaru Impreza vs. 2018 Honda Civic

  • Every new Impreza model comes equipped with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, while the new Civic comes equipped with front-wheel drive. In fact, the Civic doesn't offer all-wheel drive on any trim.
  • The standard engine on the Impreza produces more torque than the standard engine on the Civic, resulting in more responsive acceleration.
  • Both vehicles put an emphasis on driver assist features, but only the Impreza offers available steering responsive LED headlights.
  • Technology features are a large draw in both vehicles, but with a 6.5-inch standard touchscreen compared to the 5-inch touchscreen in the Civic, the Impreza makes it easier to access and control your favorite functions.

2018 Subaru Impreza vs. 2018 Toyota Corolla

  • The Impreza comes equipped with standard all-wheel drive, which is important when taking on the inclement weather here in Norwood and surrounding Braintree and Needham areas. The Corolla, however, doesn't offer all-wheel drive on any models.
  • Under the hood, the Impreza offers a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 152-horsepower, while the new Corolla comes equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces just 132-horsepower.
  • Even with all-wheel drive and a more powerful engine, the Impreza achieves up to 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. The Corolla, however, falls short with up to 28 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway.
  • Both vehicles come equipped with a standard infotainment system: Subaru Starlink and Toyota Entune, but only Starlink comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Entune uses its own Bluetooth based control system.
  • Both vehicles put a large focus on safety, but only the Impreza offers available steering responsive LED headlights.
