Performance
The Subaru Outback offers a standard 180-horsepower 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine. You can upgrade to the 260-horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER engine if you're so inclined. This allows it to promise greater horsepower than the CR-V, making it a vehicle that can easily power through any obstacle.
Handling
The Outback features our standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, improving your handling every time you're on the road. The RAV4 offers AWD performance across its models. The CR-V lets you equip AWD performance for an extra cost.
Technology
Each of these models offers its own version of infotainment technology. Our Subaru STARLINK® Multimedia system, paired with the 12.1-inch touchscreen in the Outback, delivers an improved user experience that makes the RAV4 and CR-V jealous.
Ground Clearance
The Subaru Outback offers more standard and available ground clearance than the competition. It has a standard 8.7 inches of ground clearance, but if you choose the Wilderness model, you can enjoy up to 9.5 inches of ground clearance instead.
Interior
You and your passenger will be more comfortable in the Subaru Outback. It offers greater front-seat headroom (40.2 inches) and legroom (43 inches) than the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V.
